The welfare and grant giving team offer support to men and women over pensionable age, on a low income, who have minimal savings.
The welfare and grant giving team provide financial assistance in the form of one off grants for essential items sch as; clothing, bedding, basic furniture, household white goods, appliances and mobility aids. We also distribute regular allowances (paid monthly or twice yearly) to support older people who have a very low income and live at home. In addition the team keep in touch with regular beneficiaries by telephone and letter.
Welfare and grant giving is national. |
